Batt insulation is pre-cut, fibreglass or rock wool insulation. Batt insulation can be used to insulate walls, floors, attics and ceilings and is most often fit between the framing members. Batts are available in a variety of R-values so it’s easy to achieve a wide range of efficiencies. Desired values need to be considered before choosing your framing depths in order to ensure the proper depths are achievable.
